Seam/Heat sealing tapes
are
activated by heat, and used for waterproofing the sewn seam of the
fabrics.
They are composed of two or three layers. One is
a thermoplastic,
hot
melt, and
adhesive
layers.
The other is the barrier
layer made by PVC,
Polyurethane,
RP,
Taffeta, and
Tricot
fabric.
They are specially formed in order to achieve very strong
adhesion on various materials as well as in order to provide more durable
water-endurance sewn seam, because the adhesive layer is made by the
adhesive liquid of technical advanced Polyurethane series.
According to our test report, they
can achieve
waterproof resistance of 10,000m/m. They will seal the sewn track permanently on the
rainwear,
sportwear,
and tents which are made of
PVC or
PU coated fabrics and breathable
fabrics.
